Saturday, October 22 I don't really edit images all that much. I take screenshots, but I can do [Command + Shift + 4] for free and I don't have to worry about naming it as every image says, "Screen Shot" followed by the date/time. I use Snagit at work (Windows), but at $50... it's a bit pricey for home use - especially when Pixelmator is only $30 and does so much more. So... Pixelmator, I guess.

Saturday, September 24 Queues. Whether it's the Tumblr sites or this one, I queue up a lot of shit days and weeks in advance. For the The Infinite Ache, I'll usually schedule a bunch of stuff two days out. For this site, I have content scheduled two weeks out. Queues allow for better pacing. Otherwise, you're always chained to to the computer. I only spend a limited time compiling content, but when done this way... it makes you look prolific. Now... there are times when I'll post something on-the-fly, but... that's rare. I think blog posts should be fluid and consistent.
For Twitter, I alternate between Timely and TweetDeck. You type out your post, pick the date and time you want it to appear and add it to your queue. I wish Yelp let me do that. Sigh.

Saturday, May 21 What about them? No... I think I know what you mean. Who deserves more attention (or less)? Well... when it comes to underrated artists, I think a few deserve your attention: Stephin Merritt, Andrew Bird, Jens Lekman, and Owen Ashworth (Casiotone for the Painfully Alone). As for an "overrated" artist, well... oh god. Kurt Cobain. Nirvana. Look... I liked Smells Like Teen Spirit as much as the next person, but he wasn't that good (THEY weren't that good). Really. Scratch that... good band, but... just not worthy of "greatest-of-all-time" status. Cobain was average.
Saturday, April 30 I believe in the ethical treatment of animals. I don't think it's right to kill anything for sport. To eat? Yes, but even then... every animal deserves to be treated with compassion. Look... I've seen those shows where they expose abuse and... it's sick. Having them live in filthy conditions is not only disgusting, but it presents a potential health risk for consumers. I want them pampered... like Wagyu cattle in Japan that results in Kobe beef. Let them live a hedonistic existence... just until I'm ready to have my Porterhouse. Sorry... we're at the top of the food chain, so... I'm not going to apologize for being a carnivore. Everything in moderation.

Saturday, November 27 The Infinite Ache is usually updated daily. I try to go back through the archives to make sure I didn't post the same image before, but it's hard. Tumblr has been "over capacity" quite a bit lately... which prevents me from going back, so I'm sure I've got duplicates on there. Besides, I have a short memory. Sorry about that. As for the others... I don't update Tea Leaf Dancer as much I should (that will soon change) and Liquid Candy is probably once or twice a month.
Friday, November 26 Well... I don't think I'd want to meet too many dead people; I'd never sleep. I'd want to meet those who inspired me or those that I think would help me evolve as a human being. Springsteen, for sure - just to tell him what his music has meant to me over the years (assuming I could speak). Paul McCartney... probably the greatest songwriter who ever lived. Pablo Neruda, the poet. Bukowski, too. Maybe Anne Sexton. So... musicians and poets.
Wednesday, November 3 Wow... that was quick. Must be a California voter. Do I think pot should be legal? Yes. I don't smoke pot. Hell, I don't smoke at all. I think smoking is disgusting. The truth, though, is that alcohol is far worse. Marijuana is a non-addictive drug. You don't see news stories about teens getting in a car crash because they were high. You don't see people in rehab because they can't shake the ganja hold. The argument that it's a "stepping stone" toward harder drugs like coke or heroin is ridiculous. I know a lot of folks who smoke pot and NONE of them would ever DREAM of doing anything like that. Again... booze is far more damaging, yet it's legal. Let's prioritize our demons, ok? Leave Cheech and Chong alone.
Wednesday, November 3 Well... I got my Bachelors at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, but I wanted to go to Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Good school. Beautiful campus. The inspiration for Animal House. What's not to like. U of I, though, was considered "Public Ivy" and in state.
Monday, August 2 I don't really watch a lot of porn. Most of it's just too fake and borders on the ridiculous. To find clips for Liquid Candy, though... I probably visit a few, in particular. Pornhub, Tube8, Fantasti.cc and RedTube top the list. xHamster usually has some decent foreign clips. I don't know... there are a lot. Again, though... I don't really watch much of it. It has to be good.
I used to rent via XRentDVD.com, but I found myself skipping through most of the films.
