Short Film This video made me sad and angry. A transgender woman was beaten again and again by two women at a local McDonald's. The employees just stood around and watched (even after she had a seizure). The only person who really tried to help was an elderly woman. I hope the girls get serious jail time (and a beatdown of their own), the employees get fired, and McDonald's has to pay millions to the transgender woman. I also hope there's a boycott of that restaurant.
This went down on Friday. They could have used tear gas. Instead... the military just gunned them down. How do you shoot unarmed civilians? These are your people. Fucking cowards.
I hate AT&T, but I'm glad they did this video. It's a bit sentimental and, yeah... it has an "ABC Afterschool Special" feel to it, but I'll admit that it choked me up. I know we all do it... check our text messages or try to send one while behind the wheel. It's so dangerous, though. All it takes is a few seconds to miss debris in the road or the guy in front of you who slams on his brakes. A few seconds. Watch this video and remember it the next time you're tempted to check your cell or pick it up while driving. It's just not worth it. Please... put it down.

Totally with you on this, Jon. I couldn't agree more.
Again... I'm not a PETA lover. I just don't think zoo's are cool. Would you want to be in one? I suppose most people will watch this and laugh; I didn't. I saw animals trying to break free.
Who dat? Oh my god. This really is how other countries see us. I'm so ashamed...
