Ok, so maybe I cried just a little. DON'T YOU JUDGE ME! This just raised the bar.
Girlfriend goes off to grad school. Boyfriend creates this video for her as a way to reach out.
"Sam who?", you ask. Well... singer Michael Buble was performing in England and a loud (and proud) woman in the crowd (say that a few times) interrupted the performance to babble on about her son. She wanted Buble to know he was a good singer. He stopped the song, sat down on the edge of the stage and went back and forth with her for awhile. It was a joke at first (he was, initially, annoyed), but he finally invited the kid, Sam Hollyman, up on stage.
He's ok, but I thought it was impressive that this singer would share the spotlight with some 15-year-old boy. Oh, that kid? He's now a national folk hero and has a Facebook page devoted to getting him on Britain's Got Talent. Anyway... I have a soft spot for artists who turn out to be decent human beings. I love his reaction when he realizes the kid has pipes.
Ha! I love the Barry White. You go, boy. Get on up. Courtesy of Funky Brown Chick.
