Chicago in Miniature

I got a little teary-eyed watching this clip.  Homesick, I guess.  It's one of those tilt-shift videos. The river, though... that's where I lived.  Marina City (56th floor).  Presidential Towers (44th floor).  On weekends, I'd take the water taxi from Union Station (I lived a block away) to Michigan Avenue.  Best $1 ever spent.  What a beautiful ride.  I worked in the suburbs and took the train out.  Used the "L" and taxi's to get around.  I've been out here in So Cal for nine years now.  There's nothing in Chicago for me anymore.  My mom's gone.  My family's gone.  My friends have moved on.  Sometimes I forget, though... what a beautiful city it is... Chicago.
