Andrew Bird
I've played his stuff in the past, but I thought it was time to create a playlist devoted to his music. Chicago boy. Big talent. Never heard of him? Yeah, didn't think so. You'll thank me.
You can use the Next button [>|] to move through the songs. I'll link to them, as well.
- Why? (live performance)
- Scythian Empires
- Simple X
- Plasticities
- Oh No
- Lull (Daytrotter version; doesn't start until 12 seconds in)
- Tables and Chairs

Pretty good. I wonder how come he was pretending to pluck that violin at the beginning of the song, when clearly it was coming from somewhere else, or on tape.
Don't know. He's got a degree in "violin performance" from Northwestern University. If you watch his other concert videos, he often uses clips of his own pieces in a way that Springsteen did on his "Devils & Dust" tour. Some kind of pedal controls by his feet. It's fascinating. A one-man band, so to speak. I think he's amazing.
