Mac Apps - OmmWriter Dana

I touched on iA Writer yesterday.  This time... OmmWriter.  I actually have several writing apps that I use - iA Writer, OmmWriter, and Scrivener.  It depends on my mood.  I use iA Writer for quick ideas and poems, but... I also use OmmWriter for poems, as well.  Look... they're all similar in one respect... you write and save the work.  iA Writer helps you focus, OmmWriter inspires you to write, and Scrivener is for everything else - novels, screenplays, etc.,.

OmmWriter is the kind of polished, minimalist app that Apple would put out backed by a Brian Eno score.  You can change your backgrounds, play with the font/font size, and tweak the ambient music.  For some reason, this works when I'm writing a poem... but it's a massive distraction otherwise.  As odd as this sounds, I like using OmmWriter just as a kind of mental vacation.  It's very peaceful in this little app.  I want to quit my job and go live in there.
