Steve Jobs Commencement Address
Jobs delivered the commencement address at Stanford in 2005. It's an inspiring speech. He talks about being adopted, building Apple and Pixar and what it's like to confront death.

Steve Jobs has a fantastic speech and a great life but when I use my new Apple computer, I feel so dumb. Where's the Page Down button? What happened to the Home button? I can't do half of the things I am able to do on my ancient, fossil of a Dell. It's so frustrating and it makes me feel irritated. I don't have time to take a course on how to operate my Mac like a PC. Buying a Mac seems like a mistake that cost me big $$$.
I guess it's time to buy a new PC. What do you suggest? HP? Toshiba? e-Machines? I am utterly confused now. Maybe I'll buy a Netbook - they are inexpensive and lightweight.
I said this before, but give it time. I HATED my Mac the first few months. It was too different. Having used PC's my entire life, it was like being in an alternate universe where everything was backward. Then... I had an epiphany 4 months in. Everything clicked. I got it. I finally understood how to use the damn thing and it was a revelation. It's not a mistake. PC's are the mistake. You just need to learn the Mac way. Once you do, I promise that you'll be EQUALLY as frustrated when having to use a PC. I know because I have that feeling every single day when I'm at work. I want my work laptop to do the things my Mac can, but... ugh.
Trust me... you'll see. Send me an email and I'll illuminate a few key tricks.
Note: I use Windows 7 at work.
